The Challenge
Ghazi Plastics distributes household goods to a wide customer base across Pakistan. Their growth had created complexity their existing setup couldn't keep up with — managing stock across a growing product range, tracking customer payments across multiple sales routes, and maintaining a clear view of receivables was becoming increasingly difficult. The finance team was spending significant time at the start of each month piecing together who owed what, and outstanding collections were slipping through without adequate follow-up.
What We Built
PolyDesk was configured to manage their distribution operation — handling stock receipt and management, sales orders, delivery challans, and customer collections. Receivables reporting gives the sales and finance teams a live view of outstanding balances by customer and by aging period. The payment approval workflow ensures collections are recorded before goods move on repeat orders. Management has a daily view of distribution activity and cash collection across the business.
Our receivables tracking has completely changed. Before, figuring out who owed what took most of the first week of every month. Now the finance team has that information on screen at any time, and our sales team can follow up with customers the same day they go overdue.
